Day four

Finally travelling to manus after a delay with a broken part of the jet, spent yesterday in Brisbane. In regards to entry visa they are in negotiations with png gov so there is no longer a 30 day visa and back to a yearly.

Another early start and still suffering this bug, must say feels a tad better but a jiggly cough.

Currently flying over the ocean heading to manus after leaving Port Morsbey to go through customs, this too is currently in negotiations to be resolved, that way a direct flight to manus in future.

Feeling a tad drained with this bug n travel but looking forward to the next 3 days. Not sure on who or what to believe as even those that have been there a few times are not really forthcoming, must be a blood the newbie thing.

I have gotten told how much to expect cash per month and let's say it has exceeded my expectations.

Day 2 of travel

Spent yesterday from early traveling from Townsville to Sydney to process entry visa with the png consulate, looking like this will happen every trip. Apart from a quick head cold all was good.

Met a coworker to hang with on day two so good conversation ensued. Picked up visa and now waiting at Sydney airport to jet off to Brisbane overbite and off to manus island at 7am.

The motel was wicked 46 floors up and well a room to myself as a coworker didn't show, which was a bonus as I felt miserable n fluey.

1st post

On 8th April I will be traveling to Sydney to obtain a visa to enter Papua New Guinea and then travel to manus island to be a case manager assisting refugees from around the world
